As of December 1st, Libertarian candidates across Wisconsin have officially begun collecting nomination signatures to appear on the ballot for the Spring 2026 elections. This is the first step toward ensuring voters have real choices beyond the two-party status quo — and it’s where your help can make a direct impact.

Local elections matter. City councils, school boards, county boards, and municipal seats are where policy meets everyday life. When Libertarians run, and win, we bring accountability, transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a respect for individual rights to our communities. Even a single seat can change the entire conversation.

Right now, candidates need petition signatures from eligible voters in their districts to qualify for the ballot. Gathering these signatures is simple, legal, and one of the most practical ways you can support liberty today.
