Libertarian Party of Wisconsin Calls on Voters to Reject Extremism
The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) is disappointed but not surprised by the continued march by the two “major” parties towards partisan tribalism and political extremism. In spite of polling and election results that show that a significant percentage of Americans are screaming for an end to populism and game show politics, they chose to select Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates that are not only polarizing to Americans in general but are divisive inside of their own parties.
Freedom is what unites our country and brings people from all walks of life together. The LPWI remains steadfast in our commitment to the ideals upon which this country was established. While other parties look to use government as a tool that pits one group against another, the LPWI calls on all candidates to recognize liberty as the foundation for a civil and prosperous society.
"We don’t live in a two-party system. We actually have a one-party nation state in two factions —Democrats and Republicans—that collaborate in holding their power over the people." - Tim Krenz, Acting Chair, LPWI
The LPWI calls on any and all voters disillusioned and disaffected by their chosen party and representatives to look into Libertarian Chase Oliver for President this November. For more information on his platform, please visit https://votechaseoliver.com/ .
